This book edge printing machine is designed to print text, patterns, motifs, solid colours etc which are loaded into the machine digitally. The complete printing process runs automatically. The only manual processes are feeding and delivering the book.

    • Sewn books must be spine pressed to regulate thickness by removing the swell and air for effective quality printing.

Ribbon Inserting

This semi-automatic machine inserts silk ribbon loops onto hard cover cases, luxury rigid boxes and other types of board products. The ribbon is fed automatically and is secured with a small amount of hot melt glue.

Head & Tail Bands

We have a couple of solutions for applying head and tail bands to books blocks. One option is to apply a single head or tail band at once, then turn the book around and apply the final one. The other option is our dual head and tail bander (model HB420) which applies both the head and tail bands simultaneously, thus speeding up the process. Please contact us with your requirements so that we can recommend the correct solution.

Elastic Strapping

This semi-automatic machine automatically punches the slits/holes into hard cover cases and inserts/applies the elastic strap which is secured by hot melt glue on the inside of the case. The operator will need to insert and remove the cases manually from the machine.
